Perfect Turkey Day Eve and some fun polo!

The 2 on 2 tourney was freakin’ nice. 7 teams and lots of spectators. Would like to thank Jess and Paul for helping out with the bracket and making sure the teams were on the right court! The tourney was a lot of fun and pretty darn competitive. The 1st place team had a rookie (Matt) and the 3rd place team had a player who hadn’t played since the very 1st Casper Bike Polo (Nick). Congrats to Matt and Deez for going undefeated to win. Even with the cheap shots I was throwing they came out victorious!

Tourney Results:

Grand Champions: Mashed Potatoe and Gravy (Halsey and Kait) – Not sure why since they left before we started but Halsey is very threatening and I tend to do what I’m told.

1st Place: Sweet Potatoes (Deeznuts and Matt)

2nd Place: Sunshine Lollipops (Neil and p.nut)

3rd Place: Hogs Breath (Bryce and Nick)

Now I’m probably biased but I think the shot of the night goes to Neil who chipped an angle shot in from the rough but feel free to share your highlights in the comments. Speaking of highlights…. Halsey did an incredible job on the harp at the Wonder Bar. Definitely bad ass!

Great idea on the 2 on 2 tournamentand grabbing helmets to decide teams. It made for a fair & fun evening. And yes, Halsey did an excellent job in his jam session!

  i would definitely say that best shot would go to nick. i was ‘defending’ that shot. I thought that he would have a least a little bit of trouble pulling it out of the grass, so I let up my defense for just a sec. enough for nick to scoop that ball out of that hole and into the net. i hope this is the shot you are talking about anyways. well, lesson learned, never let up on the D. overall, quite fun.
  the 2 on 2 was awesome. There is more/faster action in the 2 on 2 games. looking forward to more.

    Hey Brian, sounds like the same shot but it was Neil (sorry Nick if you pulled something off similar). I think Neil and I were playing you when it happened.
